Revised Mask Policy for DCU branch Locations

Main Blog Article Content

Recently, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) announced new guidance regarding Covid-19 and vaccines. The CDC now says that fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a face covering in most indoor settings, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

In accordance with new CDC guidelines and due to increasing vaccination levels, beginning on May 24th, 2021, we are modifying our policy regarding masks in our branch locations.

Revised Mask Policy

Our new policy is that face coverings will be optional inside Devidot Credit Union branches for fully vaccinated employees and members. (NOTE: This new policy does not include our branch that is located inside North Shore Medical Center as at hospitals mask requirements still apply.) However, individuals who are not fully vaccinated are still required to use face coverings over their noses and mouths. Throughout our branches, we will also continue with all other enhanced cleaning and safety measures, including social distancing, to protect each members’ privacy while they bank.

We will not require proof of vaccination, but we ask for our members to be respectful of the policy for the safety of our staff and fellow members. As always, our top priority is to provide a safe banking experience for our members and a safe work environment for our staff.

If you have any questions regarding our revised mask policy or any of our other Covid-19 related safety measures, please contact us at 800-548-5465.

Thank you for your understanding and for being a valued member of the Devidot Credit Union family.
